TUNNEL TUESDAY

TUNNEL TUESDAY: TAKE A LOOK AT THEESE ONE!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  A painting of our sweet Angel Inka!  Can you believe it, felines?  I was besides myself with excitement!

That tunnel of mine sure has awesome artistic abilities!  And captured the spirit and essence of my best friend Inka purrfectly...

I'm so glad to have a painting of Inka that I can look at when I am feeling blue and missing her.

**Note from Cloon's Human:  Audience once again that tunnel is pretty sneaky, trying to take the credit for the painting of Inka!  This painting was actually done by Lou Belcher from Lou Belcher Art also known as HH, the Human of Bugsy and Knuckles.  It was painted in the fall of 2013 as part of  her 30 Paintings in 30 Days challenge and I only just now brought my Inka home.  The really special thing about this was that I, of course, did not know what day Inka would be painted on and as it turns out, Lou ended up painting her and posting about her on my exact Birthday (unbeknownst to her as well).  That was so special and I took this as a sign from my sweet Angel Inka.  (Thank you again Lou!  I love the painting!)**

TUNNEL TUESDAY

TUNNEL TUESDAY: TAKE A LOOK AT THEESE ONE!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  There waiting for me was two miniature Red Velvet Cupcakes!   What do you make of this, felines?

Before I knew it, Neytiri was quick on the scene to check out the mini cupcakes...As you all know, she is an avid baker and she just finished baking a Red Velvet Cupcake for her Mancat Archie on Valentine's Day.  She was a bit curious as to why the tunnel would produce theese little masterpieces?  And then it suddenly dawned on her...it was a Belated Valentine's Day treat for two very special friends of ours...

...Ducky and Mini-Cloon!  They were just thrilled that the cupcakes were a pressie for them!

Join me each TUESDAY felines for other magical and mysterious appearances in my tunnel

The Num-Num Fund Turns 5

Hello there Audience.  Today is a milestone day for us here at Headquarters.  Clooney's Num-Num Fund has turned 5!  Yes, that's right...I'z been running my blog for 5 big ones.  I started to blog for Num-Nums back on Valentine's Day of 2009.  We've had lots of fun blogging and we want to thank the Audience for being part of our (sometimes wacky) world during this time!

To chronicle our Blogoversary, Ducky our Press Secretary invited The National Feline Enquirer to spend the day with us at the Headquarters of Clooney Credit Canada.  The pawpurrazzi  have caught all the happenings on film...

We can't have a Num-Num Fund without Num-Nums, now can we?

Neytiri is in charge of Special Events here at Headquarters and likes to oversee the decorating.  She worked to transform the Tunnel into the Tunnel of Love...

Once the Num-Nums were taken care of, catnip took the place of honor...

This year Neytiri will test out the catnip to make sure it is up-to-snuff for our special guests...

And here goes...it looks like it passes inspection!

I decided to give it a go before the lines form out the door and the crowds get crazy...

Come one, come all...our 2nd Annual Catnipalooza is open for business...

Neytiri wants to take this opportunity to wish her very special Mancat Archie a very Happy Valentine's Day!  She once again put her Martha Stewart Baking Lessons to good use and made him a special Valentine's surprise!

As some of you may already know, Stan The World's Smallest Sheep has been here at Headquarters hanging out with us since the Super Bowl.  Since he did not get a date for the Valentine's Ball, *cue violins*, he will be here giving out Valentine's kisses.  Those interested must ask for a kiss in his Native language of Espanol...Thanks to Juan Pablo, many of you may have theese one already mastered: "Dame un besito!"  The line has already started forming....

(L to R: Jo-Jo, Levon, Kozmo, Callie, Bob, Goose, Cinnamon, Clooney, Nellie)

Geez, I'z sorry to ditch my guests and leaves them to fend against the oodles of pawpurrazzi but I must exit stage left with my crew!  This good-looking crew is headed out to a special Valentine's Dance.  It's my first date ever and I'm escorting the lovely and amazing Nellie to Madi's Queen of Hearts Dance!  My buddy Levon is also going on his first date with Nellie's sister Jo-Jo!

Nellie and I weren't able to shake the pawpurrazzi and they tailed us to the dance and caught us on camera before we hit the dance floor.  I'm hoping to teach Nellie how to samba once the night goes on and we gets the waltzes and foxtrots out of the way.  Now Nellie is a very popular Ladycat and has her dance card already filled which you can check out here.  When she is otherwise occupied, I will be circulating...oozing intelligence.  Why don't you all come on over and check out the action at Madi's Queen of Hearts Dance...I'll show you around!

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!

TUNNEL TUESDAY

TUNNEL TUESDAY: TAKE A LOOK AT THEESE ONE!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  A Concatulations sign from my tunnel!
Well, I couldn't believes it!

I needed to make sure I was reading things correctly and went in for a closer look...
Say what?  Ceiling Cat did you nominate me for Best Pet Blog in the
2013 Canadian Blog Awards?  No answer was forthcoming, so I thank whoever nominated us!  We are tickled pink and honored by our nomination.

This was a total surprise to us and some of our fellow Canuck kitty friends are in the same category!  Anyone in the whole wide world is able to go on over and cast a vote for us, if they so choose.  I'z really hoping that my long-lost cousin
Cloonski Ogorki will make it out to the Polls in Mother Russia...
I'z counting on his vote!

Neytiri and I were so excited by our nomination that we got a bit proprietorial and territorial over the Canadian Flag and a Mexican Standoff
Canadian Standoff ensued...
We can only hope that this will not affect voting...

Voting ends Saturday, February 22, 2014.

Thanks Audience!

Winnie's Wish Walkway

Our Brick Story is being featured on Chrystal's blog Daily Dose Of Dogs (Aka Cats With Your Coffee) today.   Back in October of 2013, The Island Cats had a very special giveaway for Island Mom's Birthday and we were the winners of it!  We won a custom engraved brick in the Winnie's Wish Walkway.  This is very special to us and we thank both Island Mom for having such a wonderful giveaway and Chrystal for all the important rescue work she does and all the help and love she gives to animals.  Our brick has been dedicated to our Angel Inka and it is a gift from Clooney to her to thank her for the special friendship they shared while she was living.  As you can see from the photo above, they were very close and had a very special bond.

TUNNEL TUESDAY

TUNNEL TUESDAY: IT'S NELLIE, IT'S NELLIE!

Well hello there felines.  So I goes to my tunnel in the wee hours of the morn...and what do I find?  There waiting for me was Nellie!  Can you believe it felines?  I was besides myself with excitement!

Nellie teleported over from her tunnel to mine to spend the day together.  Last week, I found out that I am going to be the lucky Mancat who will escort Nellie to the Valentine's Ball!  Now even though I has a little black book with all the Ladycats in it, I'z never officially gone on a date yet!  Nellie  decided to spend today with me to ease my pre-date jitters...

Neytiri greeted Nellie with some freshly baked kitty cookies and meringue mousies to welcome her to Headquarters.  Now felines, remember this summer when the landscaping Marmot crew revealed my Ogopogo in the backyard of Headquarters?  Well today, Nellie and I are going on an adventure to find the REAL Ogopogo!

You see, Nellie's friend Larry the Saskquatch asked her to deliver a special Valentine to his Girl...who just happens to be the very one and only Ogopogo!

So Nellie and I hopped on the bus and headed for Lake Okanagan to find Ogopogo.  We got off at the lakefront and wandered down to the beach.  Larry told Nellie to swim in the lake and sing a special song he taught her to lure his Lady out of the water...

Then all of a sudden, I couldn't believes my eyes...Ogopogo came right out of the water to the shore to greet us!

Nellie gave her the special Valentine from her love Larry the Saskquatch...

Ogopogo was so touched by the Valentine that Nellie delivered that she gave me a big smooch!  Wow, now I can say that I've been kissed by Ogopogo!  I may never wash my furs ever again!

After all the excitement Nellie and I had, we returned to Headquarters and I made Nellie a nip toddy to warm herself back up after her big swim.  She then went through my wardrobe and advised me on what to wear next week for our date to the Valentine's Ball.  Now Audience, head on over to Nellie's to watch her swim and check out her meeting with Larry the Saskquatch here!

Thanks for the fun date Nellie!

Groundhog Day With Stan The World's Smallest Sheep

Hello there Audience!  Welcome to our 5th Annual Groundhog Day Report with Stan Sagrado The World's Smallest Sheep!  We made sure to have a big supply of leaves on hand at Headquarters today in order to keep Stan happy and get the best information out of the little guy.

Cloon: Hola Stan!  Como estas?

Stan: Hola Muchacho!  Muy bien, gracias!

Cloon:  Stan we are all chomping at the bit, so to speak, for the report on what the Groundhogs said today!

Stan: Claro que si!  Well, early this morning before I did my Groundhog research on the interwebs...I went to my local "watering hole" to see if I could hear any good Groundhog gossip and get any inside scoops...

Stan:  Here I am trying to blend in and not look conspicuous...

Cloon:  Uh, I thinks you might have stood out a bit...clearly you're the only miniature "sheep" there...

Stan:  Then suddenly, I couldn't believe my ears!  Everyone was buzzing about the new Groundhog taking British Columbia by storm...

Cloon: Oh tell me more...

Stan:  Well this guy goes by the name "Varmit the BC Marmot" and he is the first representation Western Canada has ever had on the Groundhog scene.  And apparently he has been spreading the word that he has some very valuable information on Spring for British Columbians...but that it will cost us!

Cloon:  Wait a minute, I know Varmit the Marmot!  He lives in my backyard and he did "landscaping" for me last year.  Well, let's call the guy in here for a personalized Groundhog Day report, shall we?

Cloon: Varmit, we can't wait to hear the low-down on Spring!  What say you?

Varmit:  Like Stan said, my highly valuable information comes at a price...

Cloon: Ok, Neytiri is fishing out some yummy timbits for you!

Varmit:  I'm afraid that won't be sufficient...

Cloon:  Oy, yoy, yoy!  Talk about a high maintenance Marmot Groundhog!  Ok buddy, I've gone into my pantry and I have 5 cases of Num-Nums for ya...now I'm going to give you a case a year for the next 5 years to bribe you for early Spring predictions ensure accurate yearly predictions.  And please note that we will never feed you dog food as we think that interferes with
Punxsutawney Phil's accuracy!  Only cat food will do...

Varmit:  It's a deal!  Ok, here's the goods...I did NOT see my shadow this morning and hence I predict an early Spring for Western Canada!

Cloon:  Woo hoo!  Thanks Varmit!  Now let's move on to all the famous Groundhogs and their predictions...

Stan:  Well, Pennsylvania’s Punxsutawney Phil did see his shadow and predicts 6 more weeks of winter and apparently the little big guy has been taken into protective custody because of this!
Ontario’s Wiarton Willie will be joining Phil in PC because he also saw his shadow and predicts 6 more weeks of winter!   Nova Scotia’s Shubenacadie Sam did NOT see his shadow and predicts an early Spring for Eastern Canada.    Staten Island Chuck in New York did see his shadow and predicts 6 more weeks of winter (they better make that PC location big!).  General Beauregard Lee in Atlanta did NOT see his shadow and predicts an early Spring.

Cloon:  Thank you so much Stan for all your info!  Stan will be spending the next few months drinking cerveza eating leaves at Headquarters and is available for Spanish lessons and as a date for the Valentine's Ball!

Now onto our Super Bowl activities...

Here is Neytiri limbering up with her "yogalates" in preparation for our Half-Time Show..

And here is me getting into character to prepare for the Show...

Audience, we are excited to announce the Directorial Debut of Stan The World's Smallest Sheep!  Stan has choreographed our Super Bowl number and directed the video of it...and remember folks, Stan's first language is Spanish so cut the little guy some slack, will ya?

Now presenting our Super Bowl Half-Time Show entitled:

"It's Noon Christmas Somewhere"

Enjoy the Super Bowl!
